Anu Patel, MD

Anu Patel, MD, is a highly skilled ophthalmologist offering specialized retina care.   Dr. Patel offers medical and surgical care for all diseases and conditions affecting the retina, including diabetic eye care, macular degeneration, retinal detachment, retinopathy, vitreoretinal surgery, and more.

Dr. Patel earned her biology and neuroscience degree at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and went on to earn her medical degree at Wayne State University in Detroit. She graduated with honors and was elected to the highly prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Society while there.  Dr. Patel completed her ophthalmology residency at the Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit, where she was chief resident. She then completed an additional two-year medical and surgical fellowship in retina care at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in Manhattan, New York. Dr. Patel is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retinal Surgeons.
