Sheila Duda Brandow, OD

Dr. Brandow is dedicated to providing patients the highest level of optometric medical eye care with kindness and compassion. She graduated from The Illinois College of Optometry and then went on to complete an ocular disease residency at the Harvard Affiliated Brockton/West Roxbury VA Medical Centers outside of Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Brandow was one of the first residency trained medical optometrist in the Metro Detroit area. She has served on staff in a hospital setting, lectured on various topics and is past President of the Metro Detroit Optometric Society. She sees patients for medical conditions such as dry eye, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease as well as routine eyeglass and contact lens exams. She has a special interest in treating dry eye and has established a dry eye treatment center within the Vision Institute of Michigan. She enjoys seeing children and is certified to offer myopia control with the MiSight 1 day contact lenses for ages 8 to 12 years old.
